roundel_caps_dots_75 Welcome to the Beamsville Church of Christ

Thanks for visiting our site. Now would you consider visiting the physical site? Yes, we are a church and a church is made up of people. All shapes and sizes and colours. All with various views, and core beliefs, but a singular vision of Love - Love for Creator, the earth, and all people. A church that exists not for itself but for the community.

There is a world of pain out there. Even the apostle Paul said that the creation is in pain. It has been strained to the breaking point. Maybe you feel the same.

Christ began a ministry of serving the world  with an authentic love. It was powerful enough that the ruthlessness of power seeking people wouldn't put up with it. The simple message of, what if we all just were able to get along? We have more in common with each other than not. How can we help each other? How can we restore this world to its original design? Can we create a world where enemies become friends? Can we create a world where there is no hunger? Where water is plentiful and safe. Maybe this is what church is.

Spiritual teaching shows itself in physical ways so often. As Jesus said, that he came to preach good news to the poor, set the prisoners free, and release the oppressed. I would love to belong to that church. Meaning, he has asked us to be that church. Each person.

Check us out.

Our core beliefs are three-fold:  1) we believe in the trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; 2) we believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and; 3) we believe that Jesus Christ lived and died and was raised again, and that He lives in each one of us.  We believe in God's renewal of all things.   We also believe in remembering our Lord's death, burial, and resurrection each Sunday with a time of communion.  We believe in God's grace, expressing itself through faith and baptism.

Our Mission and Vision is one and the same: to love God, to love each other, and to serve the world.   We want to be His hands and His feet.    We want to have His eyes that see the needs of those around us.    We want to be His instruments and His people, joining Him in the work that He is doing in our community of Beamsville and around the world, as we are able and as He calls us.
