Peter wrote that Jesus will destroy the heavens and earth and make it brand new. John records Jesus as saying "I am making ALL things new." He will even transform our physical bodies when the restoration of all things happen. It is nice to know that we won't eventually end up as some kind of spiritual blob floating around the clouds.
